Columbiana circle has always been the formal entrance to the village, and with the resent expansion the clock was a logical addition.

In 2008 the village of Columbiana started a beautification project of the Circle where North and South Main, and East and West Park intersect. The addition of the clock makes the circle a focal point for the village.
This area is the local landmark; everyone can tell you where to get anywhere if you know where the circle is.
It is surprising how far up the hill you can see the clock driving in from North Main St.
