Gray is located at the intersection highways TX-49 and FM-727 in the rolling wooded hill country of east Texas only 2-miles from the Louisiana state line. The church is located only a short distance, maybe a block, from highway TX-49 on FM-49.
It is always very interesting to view the inside of many churches and this one is no different. When the church was built in 1947 all of the furniture, benches and so forth, were built from the local pine trees. Normally this would not have been such a great wood to build furniture of any kind. But, as the pictures of the interior show, the furniture turned out beautiful.
