Station Zaltbommel is a railway station in the “Gelderse Zaltbommel” to the track line Utrecht - ' s-Hertogenbosch (line H). The station was opened on 1 November 1869. The station was a “standaardtype” that in several places along the track line Utrecht - ' s-Hertogenbosch were built. In 1984, this station was replaced by a new station closer to the centre of the city, but also closer at the bridge bridge concerning the river the “Waal.” The station lies on top of the talud to the bridge. Both perrons provides with a lift. The station lies still something less than 2 kilometres distance of the centre of the city.
