The bicentennial bell was cast in a mobile foundry as part of Ohio's bicentennial celebration when one bell was cast in each of Ohio's 88 counties. This belle was cast on July 30-31, 2003.

The is also in this square a fountain dedicated to all veterans, and a WWII era cannon. These each appear to be separate memorials placed at different times by different groups or individuals.
