Habitat for Humanity of Lee County was granted a charter in October 1982. We are an ecumenical, non-profit, Christian housing ministry that is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing in Lee County. Habitat welcomes people from all backgrounds to come together to help us build decent, affordable housing for hardworking, deserving Lee County families. Habitat for Humanity of Lee County was one of the first affiliates of Habitat for Humanity International.

To reduce building costs, Habitat relies on donations of tools and construction materials. Our needs range from raw lumber to finished cabinets. Contact our office at 652-0434, extension 1208 for a current list of needed materials. Also, Habitat's three thrift stores are in need of material donations. Every dollar spent in Habitat's thrift stores goes back into building homes for those in need. Donations of construction items, clothing, vehicles and household goods, including furniture and appliances are accepted by the Thrift Store.
