St. Paul's Episcopal Church was the first organized church in Wellsboro, PA. They first worshipped in the Tioga County Courthouse, but were kicked out, and moved to a nearby schoolhouse. The congregation remained there untill the current building was finished. It was completed in 1899 and the first service was held on Easter Sunday, April 2, 1899.
