The disused railway bridge has disappeared leaving the roadside walls with this flush bracket, 1244, placed during the second geodetic levelling (1912-21). Possibly before 1913.

Hiding behind some nettles, about half way up the wall, is flush bracket number 1244. The wall is diagonally opposite the sign for the railway walk. The north east part of the bridge wall.
