"Roswell Butler Hard designed this house on the banks of the San Joaquin River in the Italianate fashion.
Between the house and the river run the tracks of the BNSF railroad which once served the canning and fishing industries along the San Joaquin and Sacramento Rivers. Next to the tracks is a nine-foot bronze statue, The Cannery Lady, by sculptor Elizabeth MacQueen." (visit link)
