This was the homesite of George Washington Carver as a youth.
He was raised here on the Moses Carver Farm.

He is not laid to rest here but his brother and the rest of the family are.

There are 23 Names on the list on the Historical Marker at the entrance.
We were here for a field trip so we thought we would add this one as well.
It is well worth a visit to learn the history of this well known man.
