The worlds only museum for the promotion, design and building of boats made out of carboard, duct tape and paint. The boats are crewed by one to 6 people and are human powered. Admission to the museum is generally free although donations are accepted. There are various types of boats on exhibit and lessons can be had on how to build and enter your own boat in the regatta.
Each year the museum sponsors the Cardboard Boat Regatta on the Ohio River where teams compete for the prestige of being the best in their category. One of the most coveted awards is the Titanic award for the most dramatic sinking.
The museum is curated by Tom Lemon and staffed by volunteers.
