Beda Fell is the long NorthEast ridge of The Angletarn Pikes,often climbed from Martindale but for a really good winter fell walk Deepdale bridge Patterdale is our preferred starting point,a round walk of about 7 miles and 5 hours.

Beda Fell stands at 1664 feet,and is one of Wainwright's Far Eastern Fells,the fell is mostly grassy apart from the Eastern face which is dramatically craggy.
The Fell is bounded by the steep valleys of Boredale,Bannerale and How Grain,Superb views from the top can be had in clear weather of Ullswater and to the distant Sca Fells.
The summit of the Fell is also known as Beda Head.
