The Green in Wellsboro, PA is our town square! It features a large Fountain with Winken, Blinken, and Nod at it's very center. The fountain was placed here in 1938 by Fred Bailey, a founder of United States National Bank. Also located here are several other monuments, many for men and women who served our country, a few picnic tables, and lots of trees. During the summer The Green is host to the STPR Rally, and the Laurel Festival, which brings folks from all over the country who offer food, crafts, and services. There are also auctions, concerts, and ceremonies that take place throughout the year.
