This ghost sign has had several lives by the look of it. You can see some of the writing relating to an earlier sign coming through. I believe this ghost sign may relate to a company called Gandy and Son who had premises at 25 Parchment Street, Winchester. They were coach and motor vehicle builders. Gandy was mentioned in several Warren Advertising Trade Directories published in the early part of the twentieth century.
