In 1993 one of the largest world expositions was held in the city of Daejon, Korea. Over 100 countries participated. Today is is open as Expo Park, with many attractions. The few remaining thematic manhole covers are begging to show wear.

The cartoon-like figure on this manhole cover is Kumdori the official mascot of Expo 93, along with Kumsuni. The color is wearing off. In the background is seen Polaris Tower, one of the larges ferris wheels to be found.
