This sculpture garden is part of the Museum of Art and History. It is on the patio roof of the third floor. The sculpture on display changes occasionally, as do the succulents in the garden planters.
Admission to the museum is:
$5 General
$3 Adult Students (18 and older) and Seniors (62 and older)
$2 Children (12-17)
Free for Museum members and children under 12
FREE admission days are the first Friday of each month
Because the main galleries are on the first and second floor, it's easy for visitors to the museum to miss the sculpture on the third floor. It's worth taking the stairs (or elevator ride) just for the view of Santa Cruz and the surrounding hills.
Parking is available on the street or in one of the public lots near downtown. Santa Cruz is pedestrian and bicycle friendly, and downtown has frequent convenient public bus service.
