The concrete ring is 55 cm in diameter, with the OSBM bolt in the centre (6 cm diameter) and outer ring is 7cm wide. The whole object is the size of a medium sized circular tray. Bigger than a dinner plate. Written in the outer ring is "ORDNANCE SURVEY TRIGONOMETRICAL STATION". Some of the letters are picked out with moss. The grass around is cut short by the sheep.

Coordinates above use WGS84 datum. OS station number T016, which is listed as a BLOCK.

One approach.

Then follow path to end of wall. Then head for the gate, and take a zig zag break in the bracken and gorse leading to the limestone scar.
