I've noticed a trend in neon signs in Oregon: they very rarely put the neon anywhere other than on the main building. This location is a classic example. The neon on the building is about 50 feet from an annoying fluorescent sign on the street. Unfortunately I was here in the daytime, so I didn't get the full effect of the neon, but it is a nice sign, if you're at the correct angle.
