Remanufacturing Plant for NAPA Auto Parts.

Built in 1974, this was the largest US based NAPA remanufacturing plant. Originally Genaut Industries, but joined Genuine Parts Company (Rayloc) in 1983. This location had over 176,000 square feet when production was ceased in October, 2008.

This plant remanufactured Alternators, Starters, Wiper Motors, Window Lifts, Clutch and Clutch discs, Calipers, Power Steering Pumps and Gear Boxes. Finished goods were shipped to Distribution Centers located throughout the USA.

The new addition to shipping in 2004, had the state of the art inventory picking system from over 10,000 finished goods part numbers.

This location employed over 500 people on 3 shifts.

On October 31, 2008, this location has become a distribution center employing about 40 people. The production rights has been sold to a company with it's plant in Mexico.
