This was the only hard-rock gold operation in southern Alaska. The tour goes 360 feet into one tunnel for a realistic mining demonstration. You also get to pan for gold from the mine's tailings.
Buses will pick you up from (and return you to) the cruise ship dock for the half-day tour.
