Originally constructed in 1875 by Alvah Hopson near his home, the bridge has been moved to it's present location on Water St. and spans Spruce Creek in the village of Salisbury Center.
The bridge may be accessed by following Co. Rte 29 to Salisbury Center and turning down Water St(look for the NYS historical marker on the corner).
The Bridge is listed(http://www.nycoveredbridges.org/page17.html) as #32-22-01.
The Bridge was entered onto the National Registry on Mar. 8,1972.
Current Condition of Bridge: Good

Fifty foot single span. Multiple Kingpost and Burr arch construction.
