"The pet area at Arlington Park cemetery is entered by driving over a bridge reminiscent of the Rainbow Bridge and is very park-like with tall trees and grass kept trimmed a bit longer. Companion's Rest is an endowed care cemetery meaning that a set amount from each purchase is set aside with interest used to ensure care and upkeep. Companion's Rest offers individual cremation, in-ground burial and graveside services. Burial requires a casket but not a vault as is required for humans. A wide variety of urns are on display including a burnished bronze urn with pawprints and even urns that look like cat statues. Memorials (gravestones) are also on display including those that have a vase holder or a laser etched pet photo.
