Horace C. Starr House was designed by Mr. Bagg in an Italianate style. The house was built in 1857. The carriage barns are located behind the house. For many year the house was used by the neighboring Baptist church. In 2004 the building became the property of the Lorain County Historical Society and is being converted into the Lorain County History Center.
