This tower is located just a few yards off the Appalachian Trail between Tellico Gap and the Nantahala Outdoor Center campus at Wesser, NC.
It is 1.4 miles from the Tellico Gap trailhead with about 600 feet of elevation gain. The tower itself stands approximately another 50' above the summit of the mountain.
