The concert hall portion of Hoyt Sherman Place seats 1,250 people and provides excellent views of the stage.
The Hoyt Sherman Place books not only national performance acts, but it also provides a venue for local theater as well.
Because of its connection to Des Moines founding father Hoyt Sherman, the Hoyt Sherman Place was included on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
