This benchmark is located about 60 feet northeast of centerline of the Ore. Hwy. 27 in a square concrete block about 12 feet higher than the road. The benchmark was reset by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survery in 1969 and was stamped E294 OREG GEOD S RESET.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1969 9.9 MI S FROM PRINEVILLE. REACHED FROM THE INTERSECTION OF E. SECOND STREET AND N. COURT STREET, JUST NORTH OF THE PRINEVILLE POST OFFICE, GO WEST ON E. SECOND STREET FOR 0.1 MILE TO MAIN STREET, (STATE HIGHWAY 27), TURN LEFT AND GO SOUTH ON MAIN STREET AND STATE HIGHWAY 27 FOR 9.9 MILES TO THE BENCH MARK ON THE LEFT, THIS IS 0.2 MILE AFTER PASSING A SET OF RANCH BUILDINGS ON THE RIGHT. THE BENCH MARK IS 58 FEET NORTHEAST OF THE CENTER OF THE HIGHWAY, 1 FOOT SOUTHEAST OF A METAL WITNESS POST AND 12 FEET HIGHER THAN THE HIGHWAY SET IN A 10-INCH SQUARE CONCRETE MONUMENT THAT PROJECTS 3 INCHES.
