The Hannibal United Methodist Church was erected in 1864 on the corner of Church Street and West Street. The Hannibal Cemetery is located on the west side of the church and dates back to early 1800. One of the more unique markers in the cemetery is for the Cable/Teague Family, George Cable, Carrie Teague and Clara Cable. George was born in 1856 and died in 1929, Carrie was born in 1861 and died in 1895, while Clara was born in 1864 and died in 1930.
