The gladiator style fight-to-the-death scene between "Snake" and "Slag" was filmed in the Grand Hall prior to renovation. Current layout is slightly different than when seen in film with a floor over where the ring was. The single most telling feature visible in the movie is the Allegorical Window representing San Francisco-Saint Louis-New York which is still there to this day. The filming took place in the Grand Hall which is now the lobby for the Hyatt Regency Hotel. To get there enter through main marked Hyatt entrance under the group of flags on Market Street and go up the stairs. The hallway "Snake" was led through to the match now leads to the hotel's restaurant and is known as the Gothic Corridor.
