This is Yuma's newest firehouse, a state-of the-art facility. It is located off 32nd Street just west of Avenue C. It is a beautiful brick building, designed to be a 24-hour home for firefighters. It has six dorm rooms equipped with lockers, a large kitchen, day room with comfy recliners and a well-equipped workout room. It even has a stash of water and MRE's to last for 72 hours in case of a community emergency. The new building has a "retro" look with swing-out bay windows and vintage-looking exterior lights.
