Out of all the figurative public sculptures I have seen, this one is the best! It depicts a boy and his friends launching there little homemade boat into the water. The boy is featured prominently in the front of the boat holding a hammer and wearing a life jacket. What looks like his little sister with her seashell collection, is riding in the back with his friend/brother pushing the boat into the water. The artist included lots of detail down to the wood grains and bent nails in the little flag on the pole that the boy is holding on to. This is truly an amazing work of art!
