Found this memorial while out geocaching in some small towns near the KY TN border. With a population of just over 2,000 civic pride is easy to see all over town. This is an impressive display of their national patriotism.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to write here, but the main monument stone(in the center) has a US flag, underneath which are the words "IN HONOR OF THOSE WHO HAVE SERVED". The smaller monument stones(six of them, 3 on either side of the main stone) list 7 major conflicts from WWI to Iraq/Afghanistan. There are also a couple of stone benches that also serve as monuments, but for some reason I did not get pics of them, and can not remember the engraved words on them- sorry!

On the corner of Depot Street near where the old train depot once sat. There's a gazebo next to it with lots of shade trees.
