Washburn 1953 disk located off County Rd C in Bayfield County, WI. - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This is the first of three disks I found surrounding the base of the Washburn Lookout Tower in central Bayfield County, Wisconsin. This one - Washburn 1953 - and two other reference marks (Washburn No 1 and Washburn No 2) were found all in good condition. Located 17 feet SW of the NW corner of the lookout tower, this was easy to locate. It's in good condition and easy to read.
