Lewis Graveyard is located on Coach Bobby Dodd Road in Dallas. This cemetery holds the graves of eight known Confederate Soldiers from the "Orphan Brigade" of Kentucky. There are also approximately 16 to 18 graves that are marked only with field stones, most appear to be marked with head and foot stones. There is also one small child's grave in the back right hand corner. The soldiers died at the Battle of Battle of NewHope /Dallas, May 25 - 28, 1864.
