The Times-Star Building was constructed in 1933 to serve as the headquarters and press building for the Cincinnati Times-Star newspaper. The Art Deco styled building was designed by Eldridge Hannaford of Samuel Hannaford & Sons. The first six floors originally housed the printing plant and the remaining floors of the 16-story building were used for offices. Times-Star ceased operations on August 3, 1958 when the paper was purchased by Scripps-Howard Newspapers the publishers of the Cincinnati Post. The Post occupied the building until 1979 when they merged their operations with the Cincinnati Enquirer. The building was occupied for a short time during the early 1980's by Burke Marketing Services. In the early 1980's the building was purchased by Hamilton County and starting in 1991 the county began renovating the building. The building was occupied by the Hamilton County Court of Domestic Relations along with other county offices beginning in 1994 and remains occupied by the court.
