A small, but photogenic falls a short hike from the Lake Quinault Lodge. During late summer, the creek might dry up to just a trickle and the cascades not be as scenic.

These falls are located about 1 km from Falls Creek Campground. There are actually three trail heads that can be taken to reach the falls, but as of June 2008, the one segment from Falls Creek that is part of the Rain Forest Nature Trail Loop is still closed from blown down trees (as are many other trails in the area). The shortest alternate route to reach the falls is from the Gatton Creek trailhead that has a cross-over after 0.5 miles that connects to the Loop Trail (note: Gatton Creek trail was closed near the falls). From the cross-over, it's just another 0.25 miles to the cascades.
The best views from the trail are from the southern side of the trail. The trail crosses a bridge at the top of the bridge, but the cascade is difficult to photograph from there.
