One of the larger buildings in area known as Creek Street, originally the brothel district. The buildings are built on pilings along a boardwalk at different angles. Apparently there was at one time a small lighted star on the east gable. It was owned by a series of different women, then was vacant through the 1980's. It has now been renovated and fixed up, and houses an art gallery and bookstore. The Creek Street area is a large draw for tourists.
