Lewis and Clark Heritage Days is held each May near the middle of the month in Frontier Park along the Missouri River in St. Charles. The event held annually since 1979, features many reenactors of the Lewis & Clark era along with craftsmen making and selling crafts. The reenactors setup their encampment near the location in which the Lewis & Clark had their encampment set during May 1804.
