Great steam locomotive on display in Roseville, CA. The 2252 was manufactured by the Cooke Locomotive & Machine Company of Patterson, New Jersey in 1897. In 1929, it was re-equipped to fight brush and forest fires. The 2252 was retired from service in 1956 and put on display at the Placer County Fairgrounds. In 2004, it was relocated to its present site.
