Doach Wood is owned by the Forestry Commission and there are two walks laid out. Both shown on this map. Just off the B736.

The shortest walk to the viewpoint will take about 20 to 30 minutes by the direct route, which is not as steep nor strenuous as might appear. The view is superb over Auchencairn Bay and well worth the walk.

Free parking at N 054 053.995 W 003 052.908. Footwear with a grip would be ideal. The paths are a mixture of forest track and dry earth forest floor.
