Liberty Chapel - Delaware, Ohio - Churchyard Cemeteries on Waymarking.com

Unfortunately many of the older headstones at Liberty Chapel have been well weathered, or have otherwise fallen over. It is still a wonderful cemetery to visit to experience the history of the area.

Liberty Chapel was built in 1820, however the congregation was formed in 1810 by the Presbyterian Church. The surrounding churchyard cemetery is the resting place of many of the area's founders.

Currently the original chapel still stands, however it is only used for special events. A barn was built nearby in 1993 to serve as the church.
