The Somerville Korean War memorial stands near the east wing of Somerville High School in a portion of the city replete with civic monuments. This monument is made of granite and consists of a semi-circular wall two or three feet tall, with a considerably taller wall behind a portion of it.

The shorter wall has engraved on the top the names, address, birth dates and dates of death of Somerville residents who died in the Korean War. Also there are small sculptural objects representing the life of a GI, such as a spoon, canteen, or shovel. The names remembered include:

John T. Brady
John J. Cullen
Theodore M. Tasker
Joseph R. Glover
Robert W. Hemenway
John Train, Jr.
James A. Johnson
James V. Parziale
Henry Ashenfelter
Frank Vanwart
Robert Paugh
Louis Lippe
Donald Feeney

This list is not complete, unfortunately - I did not get them all.

The monument has numerous quotes from veterans about the war, as well as a small map of the Korean Military Demarcation Line. This line is also represented in the larger wall - the shape forms the top of the wall.
