This gate, though beautiful, is a traffic disaster. It was built to fit a smaller road and blocks incoming traffic. It is one of those landmarks that will most likely be swept away with progress. Fewer and Fewer of the "Community" gates are being built as the old ones 'pass away' which is understandable; each of these types of gates are hand-carved and painted.
