This elevation benchmark was found set into a basalt outcropping on the SW side of the road--there is a fenceline here at the "landing" at the top of the grade. The road dives steeply down into the Bruneau Canyon, and it bottoms out at the Bruneau River right at Indian Hot Springs. Found the benchmark on an ATV ride with the Idaho ATV Assoc. group...great fun...95 miles today! I could not find any record of this benchmark on any site.
