The West Milford Presbyterian Church was founded in 1807. The current sanctuary was erected in 1842 and expanded in 1956.

Incorporated in 1807 to serve the residents of the Long Pond Settlement, the West Milford Presbyterian church is one of the oldest in the the area. The original building was demolished in 1818 and a larger structure erected. That one burned down in 1842, after which the current sanctuary was built.
The building remained virtually unchanged until 1956 when it was expanded to accommodate the growing population of the area.
