A boulder in Crete Park acts as a frame for a bronze memoral plaque which reads:
In Memory of
OUR BOYS
Who Served In The
World War
1917-1919
- -
One Who Gave His Last
Full Measure Of
Devotion
Martin Biesterfeld

The boulder is affixed to the ground by concrete and stone mixture. Smaller stones were imprinted into the concrete to read "Red Cross." A limestone marker at the base identifies that memorial was "Presented by the Mother's Club - 1921."
