The Fort Huachuca Museum has displays highlighting its role in the Indian Wars against Geronimo and the Apaches, The Punitive Expedition against Pancho Villa, as a training base in World War II, and its part in Intelligence training from the Cold War through today. It even houses an original German Enigma cryptography machine. Fort Huachuca is the modern home of the famed Buffalo Soldier and the US Army Military Intelligence Corps.

The museum is located on an active military installation. In order to visit the site, all adults need a government issued picture ID card to gain access to the Fort. If you drive onto the post, you also need current registration and proof of insurance. You can get a visitor pass at the Main Gate at the west end of Fry Boulevard in Sierra Vista.
