This fountain is located in "Buddy" Mitchell Plaza in Rome. The fountain is built of carved brick clay and depicts scenes of this historic town. Hard to see because of corrosion on the copper base, each square depicts an animal.

The park is dedicated to Martin H. "Buddy" Mitchell who died in 1997. He served 17 years on the Rome City Commission 8 years as its chairman.

 Due to the recent drought the pictures do not show any water flowing. I'll add more images when it does. This spring has seen more rain then last. Hopefully it will continue!
