Alliance Bank Stadium, home to the Syracuse Mets minor league baseball team, is a relatively new baseball stadium constructed on the site occupied many years ago by the McArthur Stadium sports field, which was eventually torn down.

The current stadium was built several years ago and originally named P&C Stadium in honor of P&C Foods, a financial backer to its construction. It wasn't long after the opening of the stadium, however, when P&C fell upon hard times and was forced to pull out of its financial commitment. At that time Alliance Bank stepped in to offer its backing and its company name now graces the stadium entrance.
