Description of Memorial:
Placed in the downtown park, it is a composed of rock pedestals with bronze plaques atop each. There is the central plaque which reads: This memorial is dedicated to the men and women who served in the armed forces; "You will never be forgotten". Around it are plaques which have the insignia of the different branches of the services on them, making for a simple but eloquent memorial. There are many children and young people that use the park, perhaps some of them will notice the memorial and have there lives influenced by it.
