This Central Pennsylvania brewpub takes its name from a monument located in the town square in Carlisle's namesake city in England.
The Market Cross Pub opened in April of 1994 and has become a mainstay of the downtown culture.
In-house brews offered are:
- Market Cross Red
- Market Cross Pub Porter
- Olde Yeller IPA
A number of other brews are featured on-tap, as well as a large selection of bottled imports from around the world.
There is a varied selection of food as well, including quite a few English items - including shepherd's pie and bangers & mash.
This pub has a nice relaxed atmosphere with several dining areas in addition to the bar - a must visit while in town!
