One of the greatest vantage points of a natural arch I have seen. Flannigan's Arch is very difficult to get to but worth the trouble it will give you to get there.

Flanigan's Arch is 550 feet above Ashdown Gorge. The arch is 100 feet high and spans 60 feet across. There is a mailbox that was placed by the Uinta Regional Group of the Sierra Club on May 1, 1965. Altitude is 7720ft.

There are a several ways to approach this, none are easy for different reasons.
You can use this link for more info: (visit link)
One approach is from Ashdown Gorge and ascend the Gorge from the bottom.
A second approach is from the North. The road up there can be accessed from Summit. This is the easiest approach, but you need to be very careful because there is a lot of private property. If crossing private property make sure to have permission of the owner to cross those areas that are posted.
Photo of the Arch by itself?: yes

Type of Arch: Water Eroded
